About us
Our story began in 2024 with a conversation in Black Hawk, Colorado. Surrounded by risk, we, brothers Quentin and Slavin, talked about the direction of the clothing industry and what it was losing along the way. Too many brands were trading quality for quantity, craft for speed. We realized the wheel didn’t need reinventing, only refining. It’s a balance of keeping tradition but allowing for modern innovation; taking proven design and refining it to its highest form. So, in a place built on chance, we decided to take one ourselves.
Back home in Texas, we formed our company and launched a single product: one style of cap, embroidered with gambling inspired designs. Simple. Deliberate. Since then, we’ve grown. Our product line has expanded, our identity has sharpened, and our standards have only risen. Yet much remains the same: quality first, authenticity always, and a deep respect for the details.
With modest design and thoughtful execution, our mission is to create quality apparel and accessories that feel intentional, lasting, and trusted. Our pieces are meant to live with you, not shout for attention. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more focused on where we’re headed.
The Refinements
Polos
- No “half moon” stitching under the collar. Many polos include this for aesthetics on the hanger, sacrificing the garment’s appearance when worn. Our main label is applied to the blank interior canvas because we care more about how the garment looks when worn
- Standardized 2 button placket. We eliminated the third button, which is rarely used, to simplify and sharpen the design
- Simplified fit that balances performance and formality. Every area of the polo is hand measured for comfort, allowing room to breathe while preventing unnecessary fabric
- Strict approach to logo placement: no front branding, so you can showcase yourself, your team, or your brand
- Structured spread collar that resists curling
- Balanced front and back panel to appear natural when untucked
- An additional button stitched to the care label for rare cases of loss
- Timeless design emphasizing simplicity and subtle details
Tees
- Engineered with our signature Nimbus Fiber™ fabric for incredible softness
- Hand measured to provide a relaxed fit
- Quiet branding with the Spade logo only on the back
- Brushed interior for extra skin comfort
- Carefully calculated fabric weight (GSM) to ensure versatility across seasons
Pullovers
- Cuff free design. Many quarter-zips have elastic at the waist and wrists, causing awkward fit. Our hems are meticulously measured to drape naturally while retaining warmth
- No “half-moon” stitching, as described in the polo section
- Stiff collars to prevent curling
- Tailored fit for both performance and comfort
- Zipper placket designed based on average use to avoid unnecessary length
